If John Wick and The Punisher had a baby that grew up to be a soccer mom, it would be Jennifer Garner’s character in the movie Peppermint. There’s not really much more to say about it after checking out this trailer. It’s Garner on a rampage to avenge her family after they get gunned down by a drug cartel. It doesn’t look like there’s much more to the plot than that, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun. We’ll know for sure when it hits theaters this fall.
“Peppermint” tells the story of young mother Riley North (Garner) who awakens from a coma after her husband and daughter are killed in a brutal attack on the family. When the system frustratingly shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerilla.
