J.J. Abrams Adds More Cast, Begins Filming ‘Super 8’

Yesterday we were lucky to be able to show you some scenes from the set of JJ Abram’s “Super 8.” Today it looks like we’ve got a whole lot more news for you.

Not only did the movie start filming on Monday, but according to multiple sources, Noah Emmerich has now been added to the cast and the stars of the film have now been identified as Kyle Chandler (King Kong, Friday Night Lights) and Elle Fanning (Deja Vu, Somewhere).

They are joining Ron Eldard, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills to round out the secretive film.

“Super 8” will hit theaters next summer. Here’s the teaser trailer in case you haven’t seen it before.
