Earlier today, JK Rowling threw her sorting hat into the ring in an attempt to make life a little brighter for kids, parents, and teachers who are dealing with the lockdown caused by Covid-19.
“Parents, teachers and carers working to keep children amused and interested while we’re on lockdown might need a bit of magic, so I’m delighted to launch harrypotterathome.com.”
According to the new site, there will be plenty of new things to read and activities to do whether you are exploring on your own, or you are a teacher looking for interesting new content to augment your virtual lesson plans.
“special contributions from Bloomsbury and Scholastic, nifty magical craft videos (teach your friends how to draw a Niffler!), fun articles, quizzes, puzzles and plenty more for first-time readers, as well as those already familiar with the wizarding world. We’re casting a Banishing Charm on boredom!”
