Over the weekend, fans lined up at midnight to get their hands on the latest Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. If you liked it and all the adventures of the boy who lived, you might want to start reading them, because it doesn’t look like there will be any more. At least not any more starring Harry.
In an interview with Reuters, Rowling hinted that this is the end of Harry’s Arc:
“He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know. So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.”
On the upside, it doesn’t sound like she’s got any plans to end the Wizarding World any time soon. Along with the trilogy set to hit theaters starting this year around “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, there’s always a possibility for future stories about Albus, Scorpius, and the rest of the new generation.
