While everyone here in the US is still catching their breath after a great Comic-Con, over in Germany, Star Wars Celebration is now going at full steam. This year’s show has a great significance than the shows of the past because this year, there’s a good chance that the show will be filled with breaking news about Star Wars Episode VII.
The first big chunk of news to hit from Star Wars Celebration is one that is literally music to fans’ ears. Composer John William is set to return for Episode VII.
Williams’ music helped to give Star Wars it’s legendary status. Everything from the classic main theme, to the ominous imperial march that so man grown men now use as the ringtone for their in-laws.
This is huge news to fans, especially ones who were so disappointed when Warner Bros went with Hanz Zimmer to do the new Man of Steel Score, after Williams had done such an amazing job on past Superman films.
Star Wars: Episode VII, is currently set for a 2015 release. Stay tuned here for more news as it happens from Star Wars Weekends.
In the meantime, here’s a video that Star Wars.com released of an interview with Williams about directing the new film just a couple hours ago.
