‘Joker’ Casts Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth

Todd Phillips’ Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix as the future Batman villain is deep into filming and today it was announced that they cast the main character’s future nemesis and his butler. Playing the role of Young Master Bruce will be Dante Pereira-Olson. Interestingly, it wasn’t too long ago that Pereira-Olson actually played a younger version of Phoenix in the film You Were Never Really Here. Meanwhile, the role of Alfred Pennyworth will by played by Douglas Hodge. The two join a cast that already includes Phoenix, Brett Cullen, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Marc Maron, Frances Conroy, Glenn Fleshler, Josh Pais and Shea Whigham.
