While the world was saddened (Even Arby’s) to hear that Jon Stewart was retiring from The Daily Show, we had to know that it wouldn’t be the last of him. Now, the host/ Comedian is heading over to the network that has done so well for his buddy John Oliver, with a new show on HBO.
THR is reporting that Stewart has signed a deal with the cable giant that will carry him for the next four years. It includes short-form digital content which will air on HBO Now, HBO Go and other platforms as well as a first-look option for other film and TV ventures
The first batch of short form content will feature a partnership with cloud-graphics company OTOY, Inc and will feature timely (most likely about the election) short-form digital content.
