Still riding high off his Oscar win for Get Out, Jordan Peele is hard at work on his next film, US. Peele has previously described the new film as being tonally similar to Get Out, but that it would address something other than race.
A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Peele had already cast Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss in the film. Now it’s been reported that Tim Heidecker has also joined the part.
Heidecker is best known for the various incarnations of the Tim and Eric Show that he and Eric Wareheim have made a staple of Adult Swim’s late-night line-up, but he’s having a break out year. Along with a role in Ant-Man and The Wasp, Heidecker has also been cast for the space comedy Moonbase 8.
Us is set to hit theaters on March 15, 2019.
