Ever Since Karl Urban donned his helmet and became Judge Dredd, fans have been clamoring for him to return and do it again. It turns out that Urban, who has completed filming the role of The Executioner in Thor: Ragnarok, is not only open to the idea, he’s actually talked about it with the producers.
In a recent chat with Trekmovie, he talked about the motion comic: Mega City One and whether he’d be interested in playing the role again:
“I am in discussions with them about that. I told them that if they write the material and give Dredd something to do and give him a function, I will be there. I would love to.”
If it happens, this would be Urban’s first return to episodic programming since 2013’s ‘Almost Human.’ While Urban and his co-star, Michael Ealy, were both solid in the show, it never really caught on with fans and critics.
