Slashfilm has just announced that a second Jumper movie is possibly in the offing. When the first Jumper came out in 2008, it was potentially the film that was going to keep Hayden Christensen from being eternally known as the the guy who emo’d all over Anakin Skywalker. Instead, the movie had luke warm reviews and receipts, but there are several people now speculating that the movie might get a new life.
Here’s what Hayden had to say about it:
We’re talking about it right now actually…Hopefully [the story will go] somewhere a little darker. I think there’s a lot you can do with it. It was sort of set up in a way it’s gonna be mother hunting son and possibly even maybe sister hunting brother. We’re talking about it, trying to figure it out.
