Filming has begun on the third movie in the Jurassic World trilogy, the second trilogy in the franchise launched by Steven Speilberg in 1993 with the film adaptation of Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park.
To mark the occasion, Director Colin Trevorrow (whose name I just found out I’ve been mispronouncing for years – It’s like “tomorrow”, not like Trevor – Oh!), posted a photo of the slate on Twitter that unveiled the name of the new movie to be Jurassic Park: Dominion.
The Movie’s star, Chris Pratt has described the film as the franchise’s Avengers: Endgame. Along with returning Jurassic world cast like Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda, original trilogy stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum are also set to make an appearance.
Jurassic World: Dominion hits theaters June 11, 2021.
