There’s been a lot of news floating around about the reboot of ‘Total Recall’ lately, but this might be one of the most exciting bits that has risen to the surface.
According to the folks over at Deadline, Kate Beckinsale has been offered the role of Lori, the evil fake wife that was originally played by Sharon Stone. If she takes the part, she’ll be joining Colin Ferrel who will be taking over the role of Douglas Quaid, originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
That leaves one more major female role open for the film, Melina, who was originally played by Rachel Ticotin. She was the woman from Quaid’s Dreams and eventual reality. There’s still a fair bit of competition going on for that role with actresses like Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson lining up for their chance to play opposite Ferrel.
