Katy Perry Sticks It To Sesame Street… Simpson’s Style

Forget about Sesame Street, Katy Perry is moving on to something bigger and better, The Simpsons. Her appearance was filmed back in September, but you can bet that last week’s ridiculous Sesame Street scandal made the announcement that much sweeter for both Perry and Fox.

When Katy appears on the Simpsons, she’ll be one of the very few people in the show’s history to ever do so in live action. Even better, she’ll be surrounded by The Simpson family… in puppet form!

Here is what the show’s executive producer, Al Jean, had to say about it.

“In the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, the Simpsons puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry.”

In the episode she’ll be playing the unlikely role of Moe’s girlfriend and she’ll be leading Homer and the rest of the gang in a rendition of “The 39 Days Of Christmas.”

The episode, titled: “The Fight Before Christmas” airs Dec. 5 on Fox.
