Kevin Bacon has been offered a role in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming “X-Men: First Class” and is currently in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to play an unknown villainous role.

If Bacon were to join, he’d round up a solid cast that include James McAvoy (Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Alice Eve (Emma Frost), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee), and Lucas Till (Havoc).

I don’t think it matters who he plays, Bacon has always been a terrific actor and whether he plays a homosapien or honosapien superior, it probably won’t matter.

The most obvious role for Bacon would be of Mr. Sinister. A mutant scientist who experiments on mutant and excels at all the scientific arts: biology, genetics, cloning, physics and engineering. X-Men fans have been claiming for Mr. Sinister to make an appearance in an X-Men film for quiet sometime, and if he were to appear in “First Class” it would open the doors for a possible sequel with Apocalypses!
