Although “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” doesn’t hit theaters until November 20, casting for the third Twilight movie, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is well underway. And today we learned that Kirsten Prout has been cast to play the vampire Lucy and will join Edward, Bella and gang in Eclipse.
Prout is best known for her role as Amanda in ABC’s “Kyle XY,” but Prout has also appeared in guest roles in other shows such as “Stargate SG:1” and “The Dead Zone.”
Eclipse will follow Bella Swan as she nears graduation while trying to navigate the dangers of the ongoing vampire-werewolf struggle. Mysterious killings turn up around Seattle and a malicious vampire looks for revenge.
“hard Candy and “30 Days of Night” Director, David Slade is set to direct. Fans of the Twilight series can expect the third installment to hit theaters next year on June 30, 2010.
