E! Online reports that “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart (Adventureland, Runaways), is being considered as a replacement for Angelina Jolie in the Mark Miller comic book sequel adaptation “Wanted 2.”
We wrote back in February that Jolie had dropped out of the project in order to pursue “Gravity,” a sci-fi space thrilled from “Children of Men” director Alfonso Cuaron.
It’s expected that if Stewart does join the cast in “Wanted 2,” she would play a new character. For now, there isn’t any much news on this matter, other than the rumor that she’s been considered and reports that she met with director Timur Bekmanbetov.
In the meantime, Stewart is set to begin filming on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” this fall. Will she ditch the supernatural for super villainary bullet curving? I guess only time will tell. We’ll have more on this later.
