ABC has announced that we are either in for the best thing Lady Gaga has ever done or the worst thing The Muppets have ever done, this Thanksgiving night.
The singer will be teaming up with Kermit and the gang for a 90-minute special called “Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular.” The show will air on Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving) from 9:30-11 p.m. ET.
Here’s what Gaga had to say about the show:
“I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year,” Lady Gaga said. “I knew it just wouldn’t be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets!”
“Can’t wait to see the gang again, and I hope Miss Piggy’s still not mad about Kermit,” she continued. “We’re just friends!”
Along with songs from her new album, including a rendition of “Applause that includes several muppets”, she’ll have a duet with Kermit. She won’t be the only star on hand for the special. Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul will also all have duets with Muppets while Kristen Bell will appear in a sketch with both The Muppets and Lady Gaga.
