‘Legend of Korra’ Pulled From TV, To Finish Season Online

While we’ve been doing Comic con, something weird and a little disconcerting is happening over at Nickelodeon. According to EW, the network has just announced that ‘Legend of Korra’ aired it’s last TV episode tonight. The last 8 episodes of the season will be released weekly on Nick.com and their new Nick app.

The network is insisting that the show isn’t being cancelled and that the they are still definitely moving forward with season 4. That said, this is a really weird move. If it isn’t because it’s not doing well enough to be on TV, then the only excuse would be that they are taking a popular show and messing with it, just to try and boost downloads of their app. Either way… there’s something fishy here.
