Legendary Making Live Action Detective Pikachu Movie

A Couple of months ago, fans were rallying throughout the internet for Danny DeVito to voice the English version of the 3DS game, The Great Detective Pikachu. It looks like The Pokemon Company is going one step Further. Deadline is reporting that Legendary Films has acquired the live action film rights to the game and is planning on turning the whole thing into a movie!

There’s no details as of yet as far as voices, directors, or screenwriters, but maybe we’ll get some news when Legendary holds their panel later in the week at San Diego Comic Con. When they do, check back here for complete updates!.
