It was one of the saddest stories of the upcoming fall TV season. ‘Locke & Key’, one of the most anticipated series of fall schedule was given the axe by FOX. Many people have seen the first episode and the general word is that the show is definitely a lot better than what is already on TV.
Well, now it is looking like TV adaptation of the popular Joe Hill comic book might still have a chance after all. At first, SyFy was taking an interest, but they just couldn’t make the numbers work. Now the word is that the head honchos over at MTV… that station that used to have music videos, has been given a copy of the first episode and he liked it.
What does that mean officially? NADA. However, Deadline has always been one of those sources that wouldn’t bother mentioning something if there wasn’t some meat behind it. Right now the meat might just be wishful thinking, but it would be nice to see the show at least get a chance to succeed.
