In 2005, Lord of War hit theaters starring Nicolas Cage, Ethan Hawke, and Jared Leto with a story about the life and times of an international arms dealer. Now, almost 20 years later, we’ll be heading back to check in on Cage’s Yuri Orlov to see what is happening in his life now. This time around, we’ll also be seeing his son, who will be played by Bill Skarsgård. Will Skarsgård’s character be a protégé, or possibly a young ATF agent hunting down his dad? We have no idea, as no details have been given out about the plot.
Filming for the sequel, titled Lords of War, is set to begin this fall. In the meantime, check out the trailer for the original film below.
