In case you haven’t heard, the prospect that the president might give his State of the Union on the same night as the return of ABC’s “Lost” final season had fans so riled up that it inspired Facebook pages protesting how airing “Lost” on time was more important than the State of the Union.
Well, never fear. Messrs. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have both tweeted that “Lost” will keep its season premiere date of Tuesday, February 2nd, at 9/8c on ABC.
There is still no word as of yet when Obama will deliver his State of the Union or why the White House decided not to use the 2nd. Perhaps maybe Obama wanted to catch the premiere of the sixth season of “Lost” himself?
Anyway, congressional leaders are normally the ones who set the date. So if you’re still worried about “Lost” not premiering on time, maybe it’s time to start writing to congress! Act now, and act fast. Hey, this is important!
