For a lot of kids, their first introduction to Star Wars was either the prequels or The Force Awakens. Now, Lucasfilm is looking to bring the classic stories of the Star Wars saga to kids in a new series of animated shorts set to start hitting Youtube and Starwarskid.com tomorrow. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting new stories as much as we’ll be getting digestible animated clips to help kids fall in love with one of the greatest stories of our time. At least that’s pretty much what Lucasfilm’s vice president for franchise content and strategy James Waugh had to say in a recent interview with StarWars.com.
“With Galaxy of Adventures, we wanted to craft something that allowed parents to help their kids take their first step into a much larger world whether they were ready to show their kids the films or wanted to find new ways to explore the content.”
Join Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Yoda, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and more in Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, a new series of animated shorts celebrating the galaxy far, far away!
