Lucifer is currently filming its final season for Netflix and it sounds like our main character is finally going to come face to face with his dad, God. Entertainment Weekly has announced that the fan-favorite series has just cast 24 Alum, Dennis Haysbert in the role of God.
While some fans were hoping that Lucifer creator Niel Gaiman would be taking the role, head-writer, Joe Henderson couldn’t be happier. Here’s what he told EW.
“We did like the big crazy list of [possible actors for the part], and he was my top choice. We were lucky. It was our first and only offer.”
We don’t have a date for when the final 16 episodes are going to hit the streaming network, but we do know that they will follow the recent trend of splitting the season into 2, 8-episode chunks. T
