After months of waiting for our first glimpse of what’s to come after season 4’s cliffhanger, Netflix has just dropped the season 5 trailer for Lucifer. At the end of season 4, Tom Ellis’ Lucifer Morningstar had returned to hell, leaving Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and all of his other human compatriots behind. In the first glimpse of the new season, we get to see how everyone has been handling life without Luci and what happens when he returns…
Season 5 of the series will drop it’s first part on August 21. We know that they were just a few days shy of wrapping production when the COVID-19 outbreak shut them down, but the show has also been renewed for one more final season after this one during that time. It will be interesting to see how they wrap up the rest of the episodes and how long it will take for them to drop.
