The official Facebook page for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, made a new casting announcement today… After all, we can’t go 36 hours without adding someone to the Hunger Games cast or the world might implode.
Howell will be joining the cast as Seeder, a former Hunger Games winner from District 11. She has been added to the cannon fodder of actors and actresses who will make up the winners of the previous 74 Hunger Games in what is called the “Quarter Quell.”
Prior to The Hunger Games, Howell has held minor roles in shows like The Vampire Diaries and films including The Blind Side.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set for a November 22, 2013 release and stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, and fellow new additions Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Jena Malone, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Alan Ritchson and E. Roger Mitchell.
