Rumors already abound that Joseph Gordon Levitt has a role in Star Wars Episode VIII and IX. Now, Mark Ruffalo has announced that he’s personally asked director Rian Johnson for a part in the new trilogy as well.
In a new interview with Collider, Ruffalo admitted that he desperately wants to be part of Star Wars. Here’s what he said about his email to Episode VII director, Rian Johnson:
My e-mail to Rian after all these years was, ‘Rian, congratulations on everything you’ve been doing. And by the way, if there’s a part in Star Wars, please, anything, please consider considering me to join you.'”
