Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Gets Straight-to-Series Order From Hulu

Just because Netflix gets most of the press when it comes to Marvel TV series, doesn’t mean they are the only ones. Along with Agents of SHIELD (which has gotten good again this season), Legion, The upcoming Matt Nix X-Men series, and Freeform’s new Cloak and Dagger YA series, HULU has been putting together a new show based on Brian K Vaughan’s Marvel comic series, Runaways. Now, it’s being reported that the show has been given a straight to series order.

As we’ve reported earlier, the show will star Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virgina Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta as the aforementioned Runaways, a team of teens that find out their parents are all super villains and that they have special skills of their own.

There is currently poor quality bootleg floating around online of the teaser that was shown during Hulu’s upfront presentation, but we are going to wait until they post an official copy that’s worth watching.
