Recently a casting notice has appeared online for the lead role of Thor in Kenneth Branagh’s live-action “Thor” film.
Corona Coming Attractions have posted the following call order for a “Thor” lead:
“Male MUST BE MID-LATE 20′S and SIX FEET OR TALLER. LEAD. Physically powerful, very handsome, occasionally egotistical, petulant, and wild. A natural warrior with a quick charming wit who must be genuinely and sever[e]ly humbled before becoming the compassionate, mature her of our film.”
It appears as if Marvel is interested in a younger Thor, which leads to some Internet speculation that Kevin McKidd who was rumored in the running may be out. While a script is already in the works, clearly, Marvel’s Norse God is still early in development. Don’t expect the movie to be out anytime soon. But keep it in the back of your mind because Marvel will most definitely see this project through… FOR ASGARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
