If you were lucky enough to be at the big Marvel film panel at SDCC 2012, one of the special treats that you got to see was the test-footage for Ant-Man. It is a film that has been long talked about and even has a script and directing commitment from Edgar Wright.
Now it looks like Marvel is getting set to release the footage, possibly online or possibly at an upcoming con… Hopefully online.
“What we showed at Comic-Con was a work in progress. We’re working on finishing it, and I think you might see it. Not sure where, but we always listen to the fans. And if the fans demand it we make sure they get it. I don’t know if we are going to post it online, but I don’t have [any reason] to believe we may not.”
While there’s not star set for Ant-Man, having Wright attached is a big plus for the film. They only problem is that he’s a pretty busy guy. He’s currently Working on the the final film in his series with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, The World’s End.
Here’s what they had to say about him working on Ant-Man:
“Edgar is on board to do it. He’s going to do one movie before… He wrote a great script and we’re hoping that he will come and work with us.”
