Marvel Releases New Images Of Cobie Smulders As ‘Avengers’ Maria Hill

Marvel has released two new images of Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) as uber S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill in Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers.”

This might be the clearest shot we have of her character thus far and as much as I like her, I can’t picture her as Hill since she’ll always be Robin Sparks to me. I wonder how large her role will be in the film and how serious and bad ass she’ll be. In a previous interview Smulders did describe her character to be “hyperintelligent; a very nice, fine woman who has all the answers.”

I guess we’ll see.
