Marvel’s Netflix Shows Have Been Restored To The Sacred Timeline

Marvel’s The Defenders

Echo just dropped on Disney+ last night, and by all accounts, it will not be the most memorable outing for the MCU, but the show does bring with it a silver lining that a lot of fans weren’t expecting. Despite the portrayals of Daredevil and The Kingpin in She-Hulk and Hawkeye, it looks like the characters and stories that first captured the hearts of fans when they aired on Netflix have now been made MCU canon by the existence of Echo.

While no official announcement has been made about  Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher, their Netflix shows have now been added to the official Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline tab on Disney+. While this increases the chances that we might actually get Krysten Ritter back as Jessica Jones, we are hoping that they find a good excuse to recast Finn Jones as Iron Fist.
