Hot off yesterday’s news that Niel Patrick Harris has joined the cast of Lana Wachowski’s Matrix 4, we are now getting word that another original trilogy talent will be joining Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss when they reprive their roles as Neo and Trinity.
Deadline is reporting that Jada Pinkett Smith will return to play Niobem, reprising the role that she famously played in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions and the Enter the Matrix video game. Along with the above-mentioned talent, she’ll also be joining Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who is rumored to be playing a young version of Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus.
