The Men in Black haven’t had a presence on the big screen since MIB 3 was released back in 2012, but that is about to change with next year’s release of MIB International. As was previously reported, the new film isn’t so much of a reboot as it is a continuation of the story at another branch of the agency. We will still see a couple of familiar faces in the way of Emma Thomson’s Agent O and the coffee-loving worm guys, but the story will take place at the MIB UK office with Liam Neeson, Chris Hemsworth, and Tessa Thompson in the lead. The first trailer sets a great tone that captures a lot of the original energy of the series, along with the action sensibilities of ‘Fate of The Furious’ director F. Gary Gray.
Men in Black: International opens June 14, 2019 and also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Najiani, Rafe Spall, Laurent Bourgeois, and Larry Bourgeois.
