‘Mission Impossible 7’ Resumes Some Production, Shoots Major Stunts

Mission impossible 7 was one of the first movies to shut down production when they had to shutter a 3-week shoot in Italy back in February. With Tom Cruise’s reputation for being a relentless worker, it’s no surprise that he’s figured out a way to continue working on the film in some capacity while the rest of the world is shutting down.

According to the Daily Mail, filming has resumed at the test track previously used by BBC’s Top Gear in Dunsfold in Surrey, England. It looks like the team isn’t taking it easy right now either. Cruise was seen filming several motorcycle stunts for a sequence that will also include a plane, a helicopter, and the film’s co-star, Rebecca Ferguson, in a beat-up Mini Cooper.

Mission Impossible 7 is directed by franchise veteran Christopher McQuarrie and stars: Tom Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick) as Ethan Hunt, Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), as Ilsa Faust, Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), as Benji Dunn, Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame), Pom Klementieff (Avengers: Endgame), Shea Whigham (Joker), Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), and Henry Czerny (Sharp Objects) as Eugene Kittridge from the first Mission Impossible Movie.
