The big trailer for Monster Hunter, the film adaptation of the hit video game series, from director Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich has just dropped and it’s definitely not shying away on the monsters or the hunting thereof.

Does the new film look like it’s going to win an Oscar? No, but it does look like it could launch the newest video game movie franchise for the husband and wife duo.

Interestingly, the new trailer appears to only be available in German so far, but thanks to the basic plot of military types fight monster types, you can still pretty much follow what’s going on. We’ll have the US trailer once it is released, and you won’t have to wait long for the movie, which is getting a theatrical release on December 3rd.
