More ‘X-Men: First Class’ Mutants Revealed And No Taylor Lautner

Screen Terrier, who is in charge of casting for “X-Men: First Class” has inadvertently revealed other characters that may appear in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming X-Men prequel.

Screen Terrier held several screen tests over the weekend to cast actors for the following characters: Avalanche, Cyclops, Scalphunter, Angel, Prism and Ramrod.

Among the actors that auditioned: Jason Behr, Andrew Francis, Boyd Holbrook, Patrick J. Adams, Jonas Armstrong, Jamie Dornan and Tom Parker.

What’s revealing about this list is that Aaron Johnson, rumored to have been cast as Cyclops is still in the hunt for a job. This probably means he won’t be appearing as Cyclops as they are still looking to cast the role.

Additionally, ComicBookMovie has confirmed that Bryan Singer recently wanted Taylor Lautner to be in “First Class.” Unfortunately (boo hoo) due to conflicting schedules, Lautner is unable to do it.

I wanted Taylor [Lautner] to do it, I really did. He’s doing a movie in Pittsburgh called Abduction and then he’s got the next Twilight movie. We talked about it a lot, he is a friend, and I really wanted to make it work. It just doesn’t look like it’s possible to do it.
