Motion comics, aka half-assed animated comic books are expected to hit the Apple’s iTunes store soon. According to Marvel’s Joe Quesada, Motion Comics are “not quite comics… not quite animation.” What they will be are semi-animated slide shows of conventional comic books that have already been in circulation. *Yawn*

Call me a traditionalist, but I think I prefer my comics unanimated, flat and lifeless. This just does nothing for me. Why? Because they animate in my mind with a little thing called imagination. Marvel should really try bottling that up to sell on iTunes.
