Because filming the Avengers wasn’t enough, Joss Whedon has also been secretly filming an adaptation of a Shakespeare play! This isn’t the first time that Whedon has done a project on the down low and his last one (Dr Horrible) is now a cult classic. This time however, he opted to go after something a little more classic, Shakespeare.
In classic Whedon fashion, he’s pulled together a team of actors that reads like a veritable who’s who of the whedonverse. Not only will the movie feature Nathan Fillion, but there’s also Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Tom Lenk, Ashley Johnson, Fran Kranz, Reed Diamond, Riki Lindhome, Sean Maher, and Whedon’s newest inductee Clark Gregg.
No word on how it will be distributed, but you can bet that fans will make it a huge hit.
