It looks like Muppet fever has taken hold of NBC. The network that just featured The Muppets in a few sketches from last night’s Saturday Night Live is now going back to their creators to create a new prime time show.
The Jim Henson Co. will be bringing the first human/ puppet hybrid show to prime time since Greg The Bunny. The new show, called “The New Nabors” is “a comedy about a human family and the repercussions they encounter living next door to a family of puppets.” NBC has had a lot of success in the past with another puppet/ human show, ALF.
