It only took a few decades, but Doctor Who is finally starting to get recognized by the US mainstream media. In what might be the biggest coverage so far, The Today Show’s Meredith Viera visited the set.
While it was fun watching Matt Smith tell Viera that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a time traveler, the best part is seeing her perform her cameo for an upcoming episode.
In her cameo, she plays a newscaster reporting on “Roman Emperor Churchill” as he arrives back in town on his Mammoth.
I’m not sure what the heck they are talking about, but it sounds like it could be a very interesting episode.
