Neil Gaiman Returning To ‘Doctor Who’ And He’s Bringing The Cybermen With Him

Neil Gaiman wrote one of the best episodes of the last season of Doctor Who, The Doctor’s Wife. Now he’s coming back to do a new episode involving the Cybermen!

Gaiman’s last episode was actually so good that it won him a Hugo award. The BBC is reporting that the Cybermen episode will air next spring and will co-star Warwick Davis (Wicket The Ewok/ Willow/ Leprechaun/ Life’s Too Short) and Jason Watkins of Being Human.

The new season of Doctor Who kicks off this Christmas with the annual Doctor Who Christmas Special. That episode will also mark the introduction of Jenna-Louise Coleman as the new companion to Matt Smith’s Doctor.

After that, we have to wait till spring for the last eight episodes of the season.
