Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods’ To Become HBO Series

Not too long ago, we received the news that Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods’ was picked up and optioned for the big screen. It is always great to see such a wonderful story adapted for film, but (if you’ve read it), the story feels like it it way too big for a two hour popcorn ride. Well, apparently we aren’t the only people to think that way because word has just come down that ‘American Gods’ will actually be one of the next big series for HBO.

The series is going to be co-written by Neil Gaiman and cinematographer – Robert Richardson.

If Richardson doesn’t’ sound familiar to you, he was the cinematographer on Shutter Island, Inglourious Basterds and Kill Bill. Also, he’s won Oscars for The Aviator and JFK.
