Former Man of Steel, Henry Cavill is unleashed in the latest, NSFW trailer for his new Witcher series over at Netflix. The new video, released earlier today by the streaming network, gives us our deepest look at the cast and plot of the new show. Most importantly, the new trailer actually starts to give fans of the books and games some of the nods they need to know the new series will be relatively faithful to the source material.
When The Witcher hits Netflix on December 20th, Cavill’s Geralt will be joined by Anya Chalotra, Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, Jodhi May as Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, Emma Appleton as Renfri, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Maciej Musiał as Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, and Anna Shaffer as Triss.
