Variety reports that the upcoming Dimension Films slate suggests that Neve Campbell will return for “Scream 4” along side both Courtney Cox and David Arquette.
Because Campbell has yet to speak about this, we’re not certain if she’ll be returning as a principal character or simply as a cameo.
The production for the new Scream trilogy is expected to begin in late spring next year. Bob Weinstein is also attempting to recruit Wes Craven back to direct who hasn’t exactly been to hot on the idea and was once quoted as saying “I’m not closed to it, I’m not open to it, I’ll be perfectly happy to read a script and tell Bob what I think.”
