New BLADE Movie Rumor

I would have figured that Blade was pretty much over, but it looks more and more like we’ll be seeing the Daywalker again sometime soon.

Marvel has the rights back in their hands, so this isn’t a FOX trying to keep a license kind of thing. There’s even been some hinting from Wesley Snipes that he’d be interested in coming back and reprising the role.

Now, Bleeding Cool is reporting that one of their sources inside Marvel HQ says that they are looking to actually bring the new Blade, Fallon Grey up from the comics to the big screen. If you aren’t familiar with the name, she’s the daughter of the original Blade, and that character plays a significant role as her mentor in the comics. So.. we could see Snipes again, but maybe as more of a Miyagi with sharp teeth.
