New Images of Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes, And Roadblock From ‘GI Joe: Retaliation’

Given how absolutely horrible the first GI Joe movie was, I am surprised that I’m as excited as I am about the sequel. There’s a chance that it might just be the biggest qualitative turn around ever to happen from a first to second film in a franchise. Hell, if they pull it off, I might start holding out hope that they can do another Last Airbender movie that can wipe the poop stain that is M. Night Shamalyan’s first film off the face of the earth.

Anyways, we’ve got three cool new pics for you from ‘GI Joe Retaliation’ featuring Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park and Adrianne Palicki… along with some monster tank that Stormshadow will be rocking in the film.

Official Synopsis:
A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, and will be released on June 29, 2012.
