Just a short while ago, a new trailer dropped for The Mandalorian. Narrated by Warner Herzog, the trailer sets up fans for a much darker look into the Star Wars universe than has ever been shown in the films (with the possible exception of Rogue One).

The new trailer is packed with footage including looks at Herzog, Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, and what may be the first words we’ve ever heard from Pedro Pascal’s titular character. It remains to be seen whether we’ll ever get a look under his helmet or if he’ll be playing it like Boba Fett did in the original trilogy and Judge Dredd has done in pretty much everything but the Stallone movie.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
