New Muppet Movie Set Pics With Amy McAdams

The Daily Mail has treated us to some new set pics from the upcoming Muppet movie, written by and starring Jason Segel.

In the pics, we get to see Segel along side his co-star, Amy Adams and the newest Muppet, Walter.

One great aspect of the pics is that we get to see one of those rare behind the scenes moments that show off just how hard the Muppeteers have to work.

Walter, who plays the part of Segel’s best friend in the film will actually be voiced by Paul Rudd. While I really enjoy Rudd’s work, I don’t know if I like that at all. Something about famous people doing Muppet voices just doesn’t work for me.

The movie will also feature Zack Galifianakis, Jane Lynch, Donald Glover, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones and Danny Trejo.

Additionally, there is a rumor… hopefully a false one, that Lady Gaga might appear in the film. Unless it’s just a cameo and she’s playing Gonzo’s Girlfriend, I really don’t want to see that happen.

The Muppets is scheduled to be released on Christmas day, 2011.
