A second trailer for the upcoming fantasy adventure “Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief” has hit the web. This time, it reveals pretty much the entire plot of the story in addition to some interesting action scenes.
Helmed by Chris Columbus, that’s the same guy that directed the first two installments of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson is based on a series of novels by Rick Riordan. It tells the story of a trouble-prone teen named Percy (Logan Lerman) Jackson who discovers he is the descendant of the Greek Gods and finds himself embroiled in a god-war where the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters from Greek mythology come to life.
Logan Lerman (“3:10 Yuma,” “My One And Only”) who I like to dub Jacoby Elsbury, is definitely an up and coming star and I have no doubt that “Percy Jackson” will shoot him into stardom and win the hearts of screaming 14-year-old girls everywhere.
